Ryan's background in health started with a Human Anatomy and Physiology degree before obtaining a post-graduate qualification in Sleep and Respiratory amongst older adults. Ryan followed his fascination with bone health conditions and continued his studies, researching and completing a Masters degree. This primarily involved research around falls prevention, bone health, assessment and functional capacity of older adults. Since then Ryan completed Australian and International Densitometry (DXA) training in Sydney and bone research clinical training in Oxford London. As a result, Ryan endeavours to assist all individuals with the diagnosis of osteoporosis and osteopenia.
Consultations will involve:
Additionally, we provide workshops on osteoporosis investigation and treatment. Ryan strongly believes too many individuals receive a diagnosis of osteoporosis and a script for medication without further holistic advice. The services required to improve bone density and bone health require further comprehensive treatment with particular attention to diet, exercise, lifestyle, supplementation and medication.

Accumulative bone stress injuries are often seen in athletes and individuals who vigorously exercise. These injuries are more common in the lower limb and are often easily identified for a specific diagnosis and managed appropriately.
At Perth Osteoporosis Clinic, we treat even the smallest members to the older members of the family! We're here for examination, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing health support.
Curious about bone health or falls and balance risk assessment? We do it all! We also perform physicals and referrals for injuries. We can provide on-site assessments and liaise with your normal GP.
