We are currently investigating osteoporosis and other health comorbities.
In particular, we are interested in;
1) the various chronic diseases that are highly prevalent among Australian and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples that also are comorbid with osteoporosis
2) NCHA databases - to investigate fracture prevalence, hospital stays, types of fractures
3) using data from SIMBA (Monash and Kalgoorlie and comparing to ref population) - reporting DXA and pQCT bone outcomes. Also the effects of comorbidities and blood work investigations.
4) using data from SIMBA (Monash and Kalgoorlie) and making comparisons between reference populations - understanding how body composition affects bone health, sarcopenia, physical activity, muscle strength.
